Ann Anovitz, Chairman

Ann Anovitz has successfully practiced commercial real estate since 1976, negotiating office and retail leases and selling commercial and industrial properties and vacant land.

Prior to establishing Ann Anovitz Associates in 1981, Ms. Anovitz worked as sales manager for a commercial real estate company and as administrative manager for several architectural/engineering and construction firms. This broad experience gives her a unique and unusual depth of real estate experience.

Ms. Anovitz holds an M.A. in Sociology and is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker. She is a member of the Chicago Real Estate Organization (CREO), the Building Managers Club, Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association (COLBA) a founding member of Chicago Real Estate Women (CREW) and a past board member of The Mental Health Association of Illinois.

Ms. Anovitz was named “BROKER OF THE YEAR” in 1985 by the Chicago Sun-Times.

Aaron Anovitz, President

Aaron Anovitz has been involved in leasing, sales, management and construction management since 1988. He has represented institutional owners, partnerships and individuals in over 3000 retail, office, industrial and residential transactions. In addition, he has represented tenants in over 250,000 square feet of lease transactions.

As President of Ann Anovitz Associates, Aaron has expanded the company’s research and marketing departments and has increased the knowledgeable, professional staff. Aaron is continuously working to find new ways to service client needs in order to meet their time and budget goals.

Prior to joining Ann Anovitz Associates, Aaron worked as a Video Producer, Director and Director of Photography for Fortune 500 companies including Motorola, Allstate Insurance and Quaker Oats.

Aaron is an active member of RNA, COLBA and BOMA. He holds a B.A. in Communications from Western Illinois University and is a licensed Real Estate Broker.
